User research and user experience design for JellyCat

Persona
-
Monet Goode
PROJECT MANAGER
She has a two-year-old child. She will choose a brand that is safe, comfortable and that her child will like.
She works on weekdays, takes her child out to play on weekends, and occasionally travels. She likes sports, hiking, singing, and shopping.
Pain point: The nanny usually takes care of the child. Due to the lack of companionship with the child, she needs to find high-quality toys that meet safety standards and cater to the child's interests to meet the child's psychological needs.
-
Emmett Marsh
DESIGN DIRECTOR
He works at Jellycat and is responsible for IP development and launch, ensuring that it is consistent with the brand style and market needs, and meets the expectations of young parents and collectors. He likes and is good at discovering all things cute. His hobbies are sports, animals, and drinking.
Pain point: The need to find a balance between innovation and market needs.
-
Eleanor Parks
STUDENT
In addition to completing homework, her favorite thing is to drink and party with friends. Her hobbies are shopping, partying, drinking, and playing Switch.
Pain point: She has many friends who need to celebrate birthdays, and she needs to find unique, meaningful, and high-quality gifts.
Prototype
For the update of Jellycat's website functions, the existing personalized customization only has the name, which does not meet customer needs.
